What to Expect- Initial Visit

  • Health History Review

During your initial visit we will review the health questionnaire that you completed prior to your appointment. This is a foundational step in chiropractic care, providing valuable insight into your medical background, current health status, and any relevant symptoms or concerns. During this process, we will ask questions about your medical history, previous injuries or surgeries, family history of health conditions, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any medications or supplements you may be taking. This information helps Dr. Rhamy better understand your unique health needs and develop an appropriate care plan tailored to your individual circumstances and goals.

  • Neurological Assessment

After reviewing your health questionnaire with you we will then conduct a neurological assessment using CLA Insight Scan technology (neuroThermal) to provide a visual as to what is happening inside of your nervous system. This involves you wearing an open-back gown and then utilizing the neuroThermal instrument to measure and analyze patterns of heat distribution along your spine. This non-invasive process allows Dr. Rhamy to assess nerve function and detect areas of potential dysfunction or imbalance. By identifying areas of abnormal thermal activity, he can gain valuable insights into your nervous system health and tailor your care plan accordingly, aiming to restore optimal function and alleviate symptoms.

  • X-Rays and Analysis

Once your neurological assessment is complete, Dr. Rhamy will take your full spine x-rays. This process involves capturing detailed images of your entire spinal column, from the cervical spine (neck) to the lumbar spine (lower back), including the pelvis. These x-rays provide valuable information about your spinal alignment, curvature, and any potential abnormalities or injuries, aiding Dr. Rhamy in developing a specific plan for you. These images will be displayed on screen during each of your appointments for Dr. Rhamy to refer to ensuring specificity every visit. After x-rays, Dr. Rhamy will complete the remainder of the Gonstead Method of analysis- click here.

Pregnant patients and children under the age of 9 years old will not receive x-rays.
